In recent news, we have confirmed news that One Plus 6 which previously was believed to have 128GB storage has been improved. Confirmed news says that it will have 256GB internal storage to store all your information.
Pete Lau quotes in a Forum Post:
“To create this higher standard, we start with the best hardware: the
Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 845 paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Choosing the best hardware is the easy part, the real challenge is in making the best hardware perform in ways that adds value to the experience of the user.“
This has excited One Plus and general Android fans as One Plus has been constantly successful because of its low price and tremendous hardware capability. Often recognized as one of few brands that still sell powerful and efficient smartphones, this news has impressed not just One Plus fans but Android community in general. However, there are many pessimistic approach to their news. Few users complained the lack of build quality and camera quality on their OP5t phones.
Instead of listing out the specs, we would like to list the possibilities. High chances are One Plus 6 phones will ship with Oreo and not the stock OS but a slight revamp developer build. If it ships with Nougat, there will surely be an update queued. We now know that the storage is 256GB and Snapdragon 845. 8GB RAM was also confirmed by Pete. Many believe that the design will be similar to One Plus 5T and not much of a change will be involved when it comes to that. iPhone X similar screen notch and headphone jacks were also noted. Glass rear with dual cameras and fingerprint scanner and 6.28-inch screen. These are the specs that we know so far. More information will be updated in our future blogs.
As noted in our Five Reasons not to Pre-Order Samsung Galaxy S9 at launch many smartphones are now shipped with Oreo but the selling point here might be storage that they’re offering. With some improved camera quality and better and feasible OS build changes (Proper Gallery, Camera and Video controls) One Plus 6 can fill the void between an Android phone and an iPhone. After all, it is proven that One Plus 6 can do what iPhones do with minor performance differences. I still remember my friend’s iPhone 4S beating One Plus 3 at everything, however with the price in mind, it is indeed an efficient smartphone.
