How to Install/Uninstall Internet Explorer 11

To install Internet Explorer

    1.       Go to the Download Internet Explorer 11 webpage.

2.       Select the language you want to install and your version of Windows, and then click Download.

3.       In the File Download dialog box, click Run, and then, in the User Account Control dialog box, click Continue.

   4.     Click one of the following:

·         Restart now (recommended) (to finish the installation process now).

·         Restart later

To uninstall Internet Explorer

If you're trying to uninstall Internet Explorer because of an issue with the browser, first check to see if a solution is listed in Internet Explorer 11 Help and How-to.

The following instructions apply to both Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

5.       Click the Start button, type Programs and Features in the search box, and then click View installed updates in the left pane.

6.       Under Uninstall an update, scroll down to the Microsoft Windows section.

7.       Right-click Windows Internet Explorer 11, click Uninstall, and then, when prompted, click Yes.

8.       Click one of the following:

·         Restart now (to finish the process of uninstalling Internet Explorer 11 and restore the previous version of Internet Explorer).

·         Restart later
